Hello, friends especially foodies!
Last week, on 19th March, we ordered Indonesianese Ujung Pandang food by a transportation app. Maybe you ask me, what is ujung pandang? Ujung pandang was a city, the capital city of South Sulawesi province which now well known as Makassar city.
Luckily that day i got the 50 percents off so it was only 55,125 IDR or around 3.82 USD.
It took only around 20 minutes for the food to come, and here they were
Mom's was their pangsit mie ujung pandang (ujung pandang dumpling noodle) while mine was nasi goreng ujung pandang (ujung pandang red fried rice).
The taste
Mom's had savory flavour. With some toppings, pork - has sweet savory flavour, chicken - light savory flavour, pork dumpling & pork fried dumpling - both had savory flavour. The noodle was curly, savory and had perfect texture. So delicious!
Mine was the authentic ujung pandang red fried rice. It had a mix of flavour between savory, sour and sweet. It also had the pork fried meatballs - had savory flavour and also lapciong (pork sausage) - sweet flavour. This was one of the best fried rice i ever tasted.
