First New Year's lunch: Noodle!

Hello, friends and foodies!
Happy new year!
On 1st January, i took my mom to have our lunch outside. We thought about having one of our favorite noodle, ramen on 4A floor Pacific Place Mall, South Jakarta.

Here was the restaurant

It always has customers and usually on lunch time at working days, it would be full of customers.

They had a quite large dining area which divided between inside and outside restaurant's, like below.

When we arrived at 11 something that day, it still had some customers but not many.

We chose our table, then the waitress handheld the menu to us.

Here were some of their menu

You could choose between straight or curly ramen, and the speciality here was ramen. The restaurant didn't take care well of the menu, it was broken (didn't have cover, the pages broken).

Not waiting for a long time, our orders came

Buta signature ramen

Like usually mom chose the curly ramen, while me, i chose the straight ramen.
It was their authentic ramen with some pork sliced on the top, but we really dissappointed to see what they gave us. The pork was totally jerk, it only contained 100% of fat. When we tried to eat it, it was totally fat! yucks! What a mess!

Then we called the waitress to tell her about this issue, then she changed our pork sliced. It only needed about 7 minutes for them to change it with another pork sliced.
She apologized and said that it was because they had new staff in the kitchen. This was so embarassing i think cause it was a famous restaurant here. And the 2nd pork they served didn't have any fat at all so it was a bit hard and not too soft.

The noodle and broth was like usually tasty with the savory flavour, luckily the noodle had soft texture and it also like usually had one boiled egg too. We added some chilli pepper to make it spicier. And the chilli pepper didn't have any spicy flavour at all, weird!

The Price

It was 129,400 IDR altogether or around 9.28 USD for two bowls of buta signature ramen.

Usually this place served one of the best ramen, but i don't know what happened on last January 1st, this made us dissapointed and won't back here again!
