Hello, friends especially needleworkers!
In love with my green little bird from felt, i then decided to make the pair in baby pink color. How to make it was easy and fun. Just check it out how i made it.
-Pencil
-Felt fabrics in baby pink, medium brown and broken white
-Scissors, I used two kind of it, the paper scissors and the craft scissors
-Sewing Needle
-Embroidery floss in brown, pink and black
-A brown button
-Cotton yarn in soft brown, around 50 cm
-Fiber filling, i used dacron
-Running stitch
-French knot
I drew the bird on the soft pink felt with a pencil. I cut it off then I copied it to soft pink felt then cutting it again. So i got two pieces of this soft pink bird for the body.
I then measured the brown wing to my brown felt, then cutting it and make a pair of it. Last i also copied the little heart on white felt, made the pair of it too.
After that i cut the little beak too with brown, and now all the parts were finished. First thing to do next was making the brown wing. I did the running stitch for this part, sewing around, before closing it i put the dacron inside, then closed it. What i did next was sewing it unto the pink front body. I sew it with the brown button like below.
Then I prepared the brown yarn, and made the french knot for the eye. Here i used 6 strands of the black floss. Also i sew around with the running stitch for the whole pink body. First the beak also joined there and also the brown yarn which i made a knot in it too. The yarn i put right on the medium top of the bird.
After that, I put the dacron inside then finishing it with the running stitch. Last thing i should do was running stitch the little white heart on the top of it then it was finished.
And this is it, o little bird is here. And look at how they look in pair!
