Marquita, the squirrel, is worried because for several weeks the trees in the forest are falling one after another, this happens when you begin to hear strange noises in the early hours of the morning, causing disturbances in the animals that live there, which leave terrified to hide, unfortunately, there are few safe places left where to hide.
The squirrel senses that it is time to leave the place she once considered her home, but she is afraid of what might happen to her if she leaves the forest, which that particular day was calm and quiet, the animals took the opportunity to come out of their hiding places in search of food, so did Marquita, but she intended to talk to her friends and relatives to find out what was happening, she approached a group of squirrels and asked them.
"Which one of you can tell me what's going on around here? Why are the trees being felled?"
"We don't know Marquita, the only thing that is known is that several families of squirrels have had to leave because they were left homeless."
"At the rate, we're going, I think we'll be, done, leaving. the squirrels comment among themselves."
Felt a deep sadness when she heard those words, she did not want to leave her home, she had no idea where she could go, and she did not want to continue talking, so she turned around and walked quickly up to her house.
For some unknown reason, they stopped cutting down the trees, now they could hear other sounds just as loud as the previous ones, but this caused the ground to shake strongly, this caused the squirrels to flee the forest, but Paquita had decided to stay since that forest was her home.
Little by little the squirrel got used to living alone, with astonishment he saw how around him began to emerge a kind of big trees, only that these were devoid of branches and leaves, and whose bark does not allow him to climb, at night their holes will shine like the stars.
Often Marquita gets certain food that she had never tasted before, and she usually finds them lying at the foot of the trees, on one occasion she fell inside a strange thing that suddenly closed, and this scared her, she looked for a way to get out, but she couldn't until someone removed the object that prevented her from leaving.
Marquita, the squirrel, has already become accustomed to the bustling city, the people, and the cars, she knows that nothing bad will happen to her, although sometimes she climbs up to the top of a tree and closes her eyes to remember the old forest she once knew.
