Vamos a hacer majarete. Dulce típico de la isla🥥 [ESP-ENG]

Hola amigos. Feliz noche! Hoy les traigo un dulce típico de la isla, un delicioso majarete que es a base de leche de coco y harina de maíz.

• Hi friends. Goodnight! Today I bring you a typical sweet from the island, a delicious majarete that is based on coconut milk and corn flour.

Para hacer este dulce vamos a rallar 3 cocos, los fallamos por la parte más fina y así será más fácil sacar la leche.

• To make this sweet we are going to grate 3 coconuts, we fail them in the finest part and it will be easier to remove the milk.

Aquí ya tenemos nuestro coco rallado. Al cual vamos a agregar 2 tazas de agua caliente y remover bien para obtener la leche.

• Here we already have our grated coconut. To which we are going to add 2 cups of hot water and stir well to obtain the milk.

Aquí ven como vamos a extraer bien la leche que vamos a utilizar más adelante.

• Here you can see how we are going to extract the milk that we are going to use later.

Y aquí tenemos la leche de coco la cual vamos a usar para hacer el majarete.

• And here we have the coconut milk which we are going to use to make the majarete.

Ahora a la leche de coco le vamos a agregar 300 gr de harina de maíz.

• Now we are going to add 300 grams of corn flour to the coconut milk.

Ahora en una olla vamos a colocar 2 tazas de agua, 1 taza de azúcar, canela en rama y anís.

• Now in a pot we are going to place 2 cups of water, 1 cup of sugar, cinnamon stick and anise.

Vamos a dejar que esto reduzca un poco y así los sabores serán más fuertes.

• We're going to let this reduce a bit so the flavors will be stronger.

Ahora es momento de agregar nuestra mezcla de leche de coco y harina de maíz.

• Now it's time to add our coconut milk and cornmeal mix.

Ahora vamos a batir esto por unos cuantos minutos hasta que en nuestra mezcla se vea así.

• Now we are going to beat this for a few minutes until it looks like this in our mixture.

Ahora la mezcla la colocamos en unos recipientes y lo vamos a dejar enfriar y le vamos a colocar un poquito de canela. Es maravilloso para mí aprender a hacer estos dulces típicos de mi isla y saber que con la ventas de estos dulces mis abuelas criaron a sus hijos.
