So close and yet so far. Since August I have had the money to buy my blender, the dream of every pastry chef! But I wait until black friday to find a cheaper price and then I had to wait for a cointeiner to be ready to come to Venezuela and save the shipping money. Every penny saved counts.
The first week of March I was very happy because the cointainer arrived on the island and would already have my baby in hand. It was a dream for me to have that mixer, every little step makes me so happy. But everything changed from one moment to another and the covid-19 took over our world and put everything on hold. And then my blender is left at customs and we must wait for the quarantine to pass ... They go 20 days and a little more I already lost count and today they extended the quarantine for 30 more days. Hopefully I'll have my blender in mid-May but who knows.
And so as not to lose the habit so says my mom. Today we were several hours without light, literally I'm going crazy with all this. So I have decided to spend my time planting some flowers and some fruits like papaya and passion fruit.
