Hi Hiveians,
As a Nigerian, not having constant power supply has become a norm so the few times when you are blessed with light, you have to make maximum use of it. One of those very rare and unusual time is today so I decided to make good use of it by making all my meals for the day with my electric cooker so as to save the cost of gas. After making breakfast, I also decided to cook beans for dinner, beans that takes a minimum of 30minutes to cook well till very soft. So I quickly picked my beans, not minding that it's quite early in the morning and washed my beans and put it on fire in already boiling water. Then I added enough onions and a little salt to cook and covered the pot thightly. Left it to cook for 30minutes straight while checking for water so it won't get burnt. Then I switched if the cooker and covered the pot slightly to remove the steam till I come back from my various errands.

When I got back, i blended my pepper and added it to my cooked beans and palm oil, put it back on fire to cook for another 5minutes and my dinner is ready.
