Una roca aparece en el lugar,
al parecer, se quería ocultar
se siente fea, a ninguna es igual
y piensa que es ajena al lugar.
Se compara con otras rocas que hay
y ve que su color no es igual,
esto ya no lo puede soportar
y se va, aquí ya no quiere estar.
A rock appears in this place;
it seems it wanted to hide.
It feels ugly,it’s unlike any other,
and thinks it doesn’t belong here.
It compares itself to the other rocks around it
and sees that its color is different.
It can’t stand this anymore,
so it leaves—it doesn’t want to be here anymore.
Camina por un largo tiempo
y un día ingresa a un aposento,
encuentra una perforadora y otros elementos
y los explora con detenimiento.
Entre aquellas cosas un lápiz hay
y ella se comienza a colorear,
cree que gris va a quedar
y cuando se siente lista se va.
She walks for a long time,
and one day she enters a room,
