What I see: Chickens in the snow, looking determined.
What I feel: There's not much out there in the late winter, so they are going to have to scratch hard ... but I think they have a good reason.

Henny boldly led her colleagues into the snow in the late winter to catch the early worms and beetles. She knew what happened to those who didn't produce enough eggs in spring. Some clucked unhappily, but Henny led on. It was this or the deep freeze at the grocery store.
