Bread has been processed with foods that survive to this day. There has been a wide variety of flavors and choices made in the bread. Bread was made of flour mixed with water asa binder and some of the other ingredients of food as the touchstone and tender texture in the bread batter. Refined flour used to be made into bread ina single flavor of an original which is also a way of preserving food for durability.
But in the days that have developed, many variations of this processed food are made with various flavors, shapes and even the manner in which it is cooked. The bread in which it was prepared to be cooked would have a distinctive flavor because of the aroma of burning and, of course, from the clean process of making, the formation of a smooth paste and down to the baking of bread would be ready for serving when the color was already golden-yellow by the use of a more modern furnace or oven.
