Today I'm going to share with steemian about my baking journey. I'm a person who loves to spend times in kitchen to cook & invented many types of foods. Unfortunately, I don't have any skills in baking a cake😂. I have once try to bake but the results make me laugh (I followed the Google recipe).
So, I have decided to join a baking class with my friends. I'm so lucky because I only pay ringgit Malaysia 50 (RM50) to join the class. The fee is very cheap because the baking class held in the group. The class only took 5 hours from 12pm-5pm to finished. I had a great time to learn with
Only 4 days after class, I start to make my very first own cake. Then, I decided to make a yam cake. I do have the yam flavor in my kitchen but I don't have the yam paste. So, I came up with an idea to changed the yam paste to blackcurrant paste for filling😊
This is the result & I know the deco is truly bad but my family said it still taste good 😊
The next day I tried to make a chocolate indulgence cake. I put a lot of effort to make it & my niece volunteer to help me decorate it with her cookies 😂
Even though it still imperfect, but my family told me it was delicious. So, for me practice makes perfect & I will keep baking until I can master in baking 😁 💪.
