Not a big fan of bubble milk tea, especially nowadays booming bobba business everywhere. One of these being The Alley, seriously don't know how they come up with this kind of name. I did research on their website for any detail about the name, and guess what? It doesn't state why they named it The Alley 🤣

Nevertheless, I really like green tea, and the kids nowadays learned to enjoy milk tea. I think the first time we tried The Alley was that Covid year, before the lockdown.

It's been awhile since our list Alley experience, so the kids suggested to hangout a little bit at the famous local bobba shop, so we went.

The shop is at the ground floor, has a mezzanine floor. One thing I like about The Alley, being the air freshener and air conditioner. It's unusually cold and has a very artificial perfume air freshener.

What I don't really like being, the stairway to the mezzanine floor. I don't mind to have an extra floor, but using this kind of ladder doesn't feel too safe. At least not for those who wear skirt, don't you think?

Other than all those aesthetic stuff, due to the coldness of the air and also the air freshener, it's very comfortable to stay in. However, if you're having sensitive nose, the "chemical" smell doesn't really fit the "comfortable" category here 🤪

Anyway, the kids found only table at the mezzanine floor and absolutely nothing there. I guess, it's just suitable for people sitting there playing with their mobile phones.

In the end, we spent only about 15 minutes there. I guess, this kind of restaurant can only be lifestyle. I guess the next time will be, me alone, ordering a cup of bobba tea, sit here with my laptop and enjoy their air-conditioning, use their charger and make this my temporary office in the afternoon?

Dinner at the Tien

Filling the blanks for the next course of meal being the Tien Japanese restaurant. I have previously mentioned, our local Japanese restaurant has everything and anything Japanese.

From robataya to izakaya to tepanyaki. If I have to introduce more for a Japanese restaurant, I think I will have to bring a dozen of people together to order anything and everything from the restaurant!

I didn't snap the photo of my snow crab salad. But according to home minister, her portion of soy sauce seer meat is the best, and after I took a bite, it's indeed the highlight of the evening.

The rest of the sushi and maki share between me and the boy. The girl didn't follow. You know, the teenager thing. Nothing too crazy to shout about, but these are some of our daily life. I've got more photos to share, but am too lazy to write. So I guess it's time for me to stop writing here.
