Choice of food is really NOT an issue in this multi ethnicity and multi food culture country. The only problem is, none of these culture talk about how to eat clean and healthily 😂
This plate of bee hoon (vermicelli) are fried with anchovies essence... Well only if you believe someone would spend time to make a broth out of a bunch of anchovies, reduce it to the essence so they can use it to enrich the vermicelli taste. Usually commercially, they use anchovies paste to make up the broth and use it to fry. This kind of comfort food brings fullnest to the stomach, to satisfy hunger at a very affordable price. I usually do this every morning with a glass of milk tea. This took away 5 Ringgit from my pocket.
My lunch isn't as "cheap" as I would want to, but this place in Cosway did offer some insanely good deal. For a chicken mix with roasted pork dish, this will set me back 14 Ringgit. Good thing is, if you have a big stomach, they offer unlimited refill for fragrant rice and also free flow soup and free flow Chinese tea. This is awesome when you can do 3 rounds of rice refill. The restaurant operator doesn't afraid of me and my buddy, they allow us to refill as much as we can stuffed, the way we present ourselves as a super mugbang guys actually helped them to pull in more customers then ever 😂
I know I know. I don't do that kind of crazy things all that often. I did it may be once or maximum twice a week together with my buddy at work. Both of us has a deep stomach, I can store food from my toes all the way to the brim, my throat. I will usually pick something light for dinner if I had such a heavy lunch. This is what I got myself into. Healthy bowl is one of my favorite "fall back" when I had a naughty day.
Home minister also got herself a healthy bowl of bulgogi pan seared beef in kimchi sauce. I used to have a Korean girlfriend, but I must say m current ex-girlfriend knows how to appreciate Kimchi more than I do.
Once again I would like to mention, healthy recipe is NOT listed in the main restaurant menu. These stuff are usually prepared fresh and cost an arm and or leg together. My healthy tofu and manggo bowl without meat already cost me 15 bucks pre tax, and the kimchi bulgogi bowl took me away another 26 bucks 😂 there's goes my 3 days breakfast and lunch for just one meal.
