I've been trying to lose weight my entire life, not sure if it will continue to the day I die, but the current state suggest no matter if I have success in bringing down my body weight, I will have to consistently in the "losing" state in order to maintain a decent physique.
It was just a could of days ago when I decided to recycle my new year resolution, the goal is to make sure I bet 600gm wight loss every month, so I can lose about 7kg a year. Before new year, I was 76kg, and take a look at the last phone π
Not only that, there's a lot of mess going on in terms of financial wise. I haven't been doing my house keeping. For whatever expenses, I've parked them to auto billing, and worst being I'm using e-wallet. That being said, it's even worst than using plastic money, the credit card.
Biggest problem for e-wallet being, it "borrow" credit from credit card, and I can use the borrowed money like I already have them π I know I know, I should know my budget and use them wisely by limiting my expenditure. Trust me, there's so many rebate and promotions that help me "save" money, that I have to spend first before I get the discount. And therefore, these savings ended up becoming impulse buy.
The spending is one thing, but what about the food I've spent on? It gotta go somewhere right? Getting rid of it become wastage, so I ate them all. Take a look at 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th. Getting a bowl of noodle it will cost me 18, why not make it a set, with coffee and toast. That will only set me back some 24. Since I hit the button for the set, it comes with a purchase with purchase promo, a bowl of manggo smoothie for another 4 bucks. Before I realized what am I committing into, it all added up with service charges and tax, it came to 30+ bucks.
Now that I looking back, there's no savings. I don't really need that french toast. Besides, who put a chicken wing beside the french toast?
I weighted in before new year was 76, and now I'm already 77 π I should really sit down and come up with the short term achievable plan to fix my current situation first, before going long term with the whole year plan. May be it's time to uninstall the bloody e-wallet and start using cash again, so I don't buy in anymore discounts, and I eat less.
