Those were the old days when people started to put solar panels on their roofs. During the sunlight on the panels, the panels started to produce more energy than the house was using at the moment.
This was the time before the smart meter. Just the old fashioned meter that would spin, but when they first put solar panels on their roofs and when the solar panels produced more than was used by the house, then the energy had to go up the grid and the meter spun backwards. When spun backwards this was compensation for the extra energy, but good things don't last forever.
Those were the days. You see when the meter spun backwards it helped keep better look on the energy used and the energy given to the grid.
No days we don't have the spinning meter anymore, it is digital and when the meter receives energy their is no compensation to me. Well, at least I don't have to pay when I give energy to the grid. Now there are some people in other areas that are compensated, but for me no compensation.
So when I give energy to the grid, it is as if I was using not energy at all, but I compensation for the energy given to the grid.
One of these days we will have a more cheaper and safer nuclear energy. I believe it is called, the thorium molten salt reactor. People should try and study the thorium molten salt reactor for a new, different type of nuclear energy.
With this type of reactor there will be no chance of a Three Mile Island or Fukushima type of nuclear meltdowns. For this type of reactor does not use high pressure water.
Trump said, that he is interested in all forms of new energy.
The thing is, is that the Thorium Molten Salt reactor is old school. We had that reactor back in 1969 and then they shut it down and fired all the people working on it.
You see Thorium is cheap, pretty much dirt cheap, the only thing about thorium as a fuel for a nuclear reactor is that you cannot make bombs out of thorium, like you can when you use uranium as the fuel.
So when Trump comes back maybe we can a push to use Thorium Molten Salt reactors.
Then we can have a more stable energy supply to go along with our solar panels.
Let's end with a scripture, as it is written, And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken. Ecclesiastes 4:12.
