Good morning dear Snaperinos! Well, thanks God the sun is showing and skies clearing. In a country with more hours in the dark, due to blackouts, than in the light; you have to basically live on solar

I went into solar in the house almost four years ago, when electricity prices started strongly raising. Back then, batteries were quite expensive and most companies were offering you to pay for your exceeding

Here is my monthly report on how our solar panel system did in May 2026. We have: 20x400W panels = 8kW, facing west 5kW GivEnergy inverter 9.5kWh GivEnergy battery The house is in the UK at about 52° north.

The total solar energy captured was very close to previous months report, so it has been quite bright outside of lately. I think the days are starting to get shorter, so soon I think we will see the number

Ein weiterer Monat ist vergangen und ich genieße die Sommermonate sehr, in denen ich keinen Strom aus dem Netz beziehen muss. Diesen Monat habe ich nur 0,1 kWh Strom gekauft und über 864 kWh ins Netz

I have always thought about this idea for a very long time. We have so much of solar light in India. Especially except for like 2 or 3 months we will be able to get maximum efficiency from Solar for the

Alleged 'clean energy' might not be all that clean.

The sun doesn't run out

I have mentioned before how we are being screwed over on our electricity bill each month and I have sought out some help to get this rectified. The sad thing is going directly to the local municipality

Solar beat coal by 3 to 1. June 2026: solar produced 25% of EU electricity — 52 TWh — making it the largest single power source on the continent for the month. Nuclear 21%, gas 15%, wind 14%, hydro 12%,

A lot of people may have experienced the eclipse today. The zone of totality skimmed across the western edge of Europe taking in Iceland and Spain, but it only got to about 90% where I am in the UK. The

A post with an update from yesterday, especially for those of you not interested in watching a 20 min video of me rambling. What is Hive Community Orbit on scrobble.life? Basically a visualization of different

Decided to do something "different" yesterday as I was staying awake longer than I should without getting sleep. Had a random idea so went with it and it evolved a bit further while I was

Greetings, everyone! With my two panels properly set at the summer angle, July was the best month since I started generating my own power. The weather was good most of the time, but there were cloudy days

The month of July solar figures are actually better than expected and kind of encouraging. June and July are normally the worst performing months due to us here in South Africa being in the middle of winter.

When we hear the statement my best financial decision, a lot of people would immediately assume such a person have had a wonderful financial turnaround through the decisions they made in their finance

This month my solar power array produced 1.6 MWHh of Energy. I used 617 kwh of the produced energy myself in my house. 950 KWh were fed into the grid. These summer months are great since I don't need to

Another productive month of producing power on the farm. We cleared over 3 megawatt hours again this month. Need to clear the weeds around the solar panels, so just a close up for this month for the cover
