I took this picture on July 2, 2023, a day before a certain chaos happened. You see my mom was supposed to visit my brother and I, but that didn't happen.

My mom had a certain type of headache the morning of July 3, 2023, the same day that my mom was to visit my brother and I. It reminds me of a scripture, where a boy complains about his head, as it is written, And he said unto his father, My head, my head. And he said to a lad, Carry him to his mother. And when he had taken him, and brought him to his mother, he sat on her knees till noon, and died. 2 Kings 4:19-20.

Like in the scripture, my mom had a certain pain in her head, and later that day, she died with certain family around her, including me.

Well something happened inside of my mom's head. Something about a very bad bleeding in the brain, maybe blood vessels broke, or something like that. A doctor told me something like the worse he seen in his career.

My sister called me earlier that morning to come to the hospital, it was out of town for me, so I came. I thought that my mom could pull through this, but she didn't pull through. She passed on later that day.

This picture I took the day before my mom died. Of course at the time I took this picture, how could I know there would be this great loss. I thought my mom would live to be a hundred years old, but God had other plans, as it is written, with Jesus speaking, Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. Matthew 10:29-31.

So the Father knows all things. Even when my mom would pass on. My mom was 92 years old at the time of her passing.

So the title I wrote Like A Mental Pain. I guess that is what I would call it, cause it surely is not physical pain, I think mental pain is good to mention, for me that is.

A death in the family is a heavy thing, and how to bring healing?

A friend told me something that was told her, The three Ts. Tears, talking and time. Well, it is good to talk about the person who left us, it will stir memories and with those memories, may come tears. Tears and be a healing thing, Even King David would cry his tears..

And then time. With the passing of time, the mental pain can subside. Well, I am surely trying to apply all of these.

As my late dad use to say to me, Just do the best you can.

Let's end with a scripture, as it is written, Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this the whole of man. Ecclesiastes 12:13.
