For the record high of my city in California is 115 degrees F. Yes that is the record for my city and today it was 115 degrees F, so we matched the record today. So we matched the hottest day in record history for my city.
How hot? Well I was in front of a fan and hot air was blowing in my face. So one way to cool off is to go shirtless and with a spray bottle of water to spray a mist on the body with the fan blowing against it. Kind of like getting some wind chill factor going.
Of course I am looking forward to the fall were it is cool, but not cold like winter. That is when I will save on electricity as I know my fans draw energy, but I hate to use my window air conditioning. I just hate to pay the price of high electrical energy.
Today my phone even gave out a high heat warning and an electrical watch warning as they wanted everybody to turn down or don't use certain appliances from 4pm to 9pm. I guess cause that is when everyone likes to put on their air conditioning, well, except me, that is.
I took this picture in the parking lot of the Winco store that I like to go to. I was going to go earlier, but with the heat I just stayed home and tried to cool off, later in the night, I thought, then I would go to the store.
Even in the dark of night, there was some wind, but it was hot wind. I don't like it when it is hot at night time. Well, at least the store will be cool.
At the store, I still see the prices going up, man, what are we going to do with all this inflation? Well, at least I have money in my pocket to buy groceries.
I know that Trump wants to get rid of the Fed. Maybe that is the answer, then we can get rid of the IRS. Did you know that the IRS was not part of the constitution? Well, if it is not part of the constitution, let's get rid of it.
Well, we can't do that yet, we got to get Trump back into office of being president. I will look forward to that day.
