This is my truck, a 91 Chevy S10 pickup, loaded and all tied down, getting ready to go to the dump. That is the thing, sometimes you just have to get rid of stuff.
You remember in my last blog, I mentioned that my mom passed away on the 3rd of July. A very sad day. Well, anyway, my mom and brother lived in this house that we will have to move out of and my brother will move into my house. I know that rents now days are outrageous. So I will have to reserve a room for my brother in my house.
There are so many things that have to happen after a tragic thing happens. In this instance my brother will have to vacate the house he is living in, since we can keep paying the rent to the house without the income from our mom, cause mom paid and my brother paid and I paid to this house so my mom and my brother could live in this house, but with the death of my mom goes her income also. My mom had the survival benefit of my dad's pension, and with the death of my mom, that survival benefit ends.
So to get out of this house things have to be given up and thrown away, as a house full of stuff cannot fit in another house full of stuff. So yes even in my own house I will have to get rid of stuff. To make room for my brother to come in.
So things will have to go to the dump, but other things I might give to Good Will.
In my own house, in the garage, I have 2 non-working refrigerators, plus in the house I have a freezer that can go to the dump also. Getting rid of those will save a lot of space.
I guess I will have to make use of space in getting rid of large beds, you know like king or queen size beds. If my brother and I down grade to a twin size bed then we will have more room, like for a desk for a a computer and writing.
I am thinking of giving my brother my room and I was thinking of putting a small bed in my computer room. My computer room has a bunch of computers, a lot for mining, but mining is not paying off too much these days. I guess when bitcoin gets high again, things will change. I was thinking of just ordering a camping military cot. I actually used to sleep on those when I was a kid.
One of my uncles used to be in the military, Navy actually and at my now late grandma's there were a lot of cots and if we stayed the night at grandma's we would sleep on a military cot.
So I might order one of those cots and put it in my computer room, after I free myself of more room that is.
I did tell one of the boys that I take to work, that I would give him my bardip. I have gained weight over the years and doing bardips is pretty hard for me, well, I am 64 years old as I write, I am not the young kid I used to be.
So here is my 91 Chevy S10 pickup all loaded up and ready to take to the dump. At least I will get rid of that stuff.
Let's end with a scripture, as it is written, this is concerning Jesus, And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed. Luke 5:16.
