I bought Steem at a dollar, and I had plenty of chances to buy more Steem at $0.10 ! Once I posted that you could buy 1000 Steem for just $149 ! A $1500 investment at that time would be worth around $23,400 today. Some perspective on this 'Steem' thing; since I started in August 2016 around 350,000 new users have joined! Wow.
