I have been Back to Minecraft for 15 days now, and my survival farm is self sufficient.
Cherry trees from that distant mountain were brought back on one of my journeys and I have been harvesting them to make Pink wood. It's a nice change fom the standard. The cobblestone you see there was dug up from deep down below the 0 level. Seeds from the grass grow the wheat, which can be fed to Sheep or Cows to make them multiply, or put in the composter to make bonemeal.
My copper armour shines and my inventory is crowded. Seeds, a Chest, Eggs ( I have more than enough now ), Sticks, A bucket with water, Poplar Wood, Grilled Steaks, Andesite, Cobblestone, Raw Chicken, Dirt, Shovels, Pickaxes, Hoes, Axes, Signs, Bread, Torches, a Copper sword, coal, sugar cane, fence posts and fence gates. And a cherry tree sprout! More than enough to do plenty.
This is my new house, I just installed the windows today. They were made from sand I got near the boat dock I built. I was being chased by a raider so I had to defeat him avoiding his crossbow.
Here is my Bonemeal station, 7 composters filled with wheat make bonemeal. Wheat planted nearby lets me harvest wheat and seeds, replant, and then feed the cows and chickens, or compost for bonemeal. The sugar cane in the back can be turned into sugar for baking, or paper for maps and books. I am building fences right now to keep animals and invaders out of my spaces.
Eight sugar cane stalks can be planted around 4 blocks of water. The animal farm has expanded multiple times, and I am building up to a second level. In the center is a platform with chests on it that I am filling with burgers, lamb, eggs and chicken.
I feed the animals too so I keep growing the population. I need to find some carrots and potatoes next, and those can be fed to the pigs. I also saw some horses on one of my walks, maybe I can tame one soon. How do I make a saddle?
Ahh yes, Iron. I need more Iron. I should spend more time in the mines.
I have so many cows and chickens and sheep here that trample my garden, i had to kick them out and build this fence around the plot so I can fix it. It is better to have the farm divided up, I finally appreciate fences. These animals are out of control! But I endeavor anyways...
I will need to come back again with more seeds, but it's a start.
Fences to control where these cattle can and cant go. Might need to study some ranch stuff.
The sun coming up on my cherry trees. I had a creeper blow up some of my garden here, so I fixed it up too. Just gotta rebuild when that happens. Feeding the chickens, picking up eggs...
Time to chop some trees down I think. It's a relaxing game.
