Our community is full of many domestic animals. Everyone living in the community wishes to own one animal or the other. Well this really makes a community worth it. Predominantly, there are goats and chickens. These are the local fowls who are so troublesome. Do you know why I say that they are so troublesome? They can invade your room just because they want to hunt for food. We also have sheep and cattles. I think that cattles refers to cows. Cows are usually taken around for grazing by their rearers.
I was talking about how troublesome animals can be. The local fowls and the goats go about disturbing people's homes just because they want something to eat. This has brought some communal clashes. You can see neighbors fighting just because one’s goat has entered the other person’s house and eaten his yam or cassava flour. I’m telling you, we have several of such cases.
But looking away from the troubles that domestic animals can cause, it is economically profitable to keep domestic animals. They can be used as a source of income. For instance, during festivities people usually make good sales of their rams, goats, cows and chickens for the celebrations. You know that the bone of every celebration is the meat and the drinks.
