Hello, everyone! πŸ‘‹βœ¨

Today I want to share a special illustration with you: Harry Potter in Chibi style! πŸ§™β€β™‚οΈβš‘

With the upcoming release of the new Harry Potter series, I felt inspired to create this little tribute to a magical world that's been part of my life for years. The Harry Potter movies are my favorite film saga, so creating this artwork was a wonderful opportunity to revisit that universe and express my appreciation for a story that has captivated millions of fans worldwide.

For this illustration, I decided to give Harry a cute and dynamic Chibi design, capturing his iconic glasses, messy hair, Gryffindor uniform, and of course, his broomstick! 🧹✨ I created the entire piece in Manga Studio EX 4, from the initial sketch through final shading and lighting.

Now, let me show you how I brought this little wizard to life! 🎨

πŸ–ŒοΈ Step 1: Initial Sketch

Every illustration begins with an idea, and this one started with a rough sketch using blue lines.

I focused on establishing the overall composition, Harry's jumping pose, and the placement of key elements like his broomstick and flowing robe. I also worked on the character's proportions to achieve that recognizable Chibi look.

The goal was to capture a sense of movement and excitement while creating a solid foundation for the next stages.

✏️ Step 2: Base Line Art

Once I was satisfied with the initial sketch, I created a preliminary line art using red lines.

This stage allowed me to refine Harry's pose, define the shapes of his clothing, and establish the main outlines of his face, hair, glasses, and broomstick. It served as a guide for the final inking and helped me organize the details before moving forward.

βœ’οΈ Step 3: Detailed Line Art

With the basic structure in place, I moved on to the final black line art.

Here, I refined the contours and added precise details to Harry's hair, facial expression, round glasses, Gryffindor uniform, and flowing cape. I also refined the broomstick and small details that make the composition feel complete.

This stage is essential because clean, expressive line art gives the illustration its final structure and prepares it for coloring.

🎨 Step 4: Base Colors

After completing the line art, I moved on to the coloring stage.

I applied base colors to Harry's hair, skin, eyes, glasses, clothing, cape, and broomstick. I also added a bright blue sky with fluffy white clouds to create a cheerful background that complements the character's energetic pose.

At this point, I focused on establishing the main color palette without adding complex shadows or lighting effects yet.

🌟 Step 5: Final Coloring, Shadows, and Lighting

With the base colors in place, I began adding shadows, highlights, and finer details to give the illustration more depth and dimension.

I worked on the lighting in Harry's hair, added shading to his face and clothing, and refined the textures of his cape and broomstick. I also enhanced the clouds and background to create a more polished and cohesive final image.

These finishing touches brought the character to life while maintaining the bright, playful feel of the Chibi style.

⚑ Final Result: A Little Wizard, a Big Adventure!

And here's the finished illustration!

Creating this artwork was a fun way to pay tribute to one of my favorite stories. Harry Potter has always held a special place in my heart, and with the upcoming series, it felt like the perfect time to pick up my digital pen and return to the wizarding world.

I hope this little Chibi version of Harry brings a bit of magic to your day! πŸ§™β€β™‚οΈ
