Art Process
- sketch and line art
I started with a blue brush for the sketch. I wanted to copy the kimono clothing and then add a belt with the Ocean Healer logo. I thought of also putting a cute hair clip, like a wind chime, and teal diamond earrings. Using a pencil-textured brush for the line art.
- base color and detailing
I chose a deep red color for the hair and a dark teal color for the clothing to match the accessories' colors. I then focused on the eyes by adding the shine and shadows.
- Adding the lighting and the background
Now, I used a fine blurring brush for the shine on the clothing. Normally, I add the Add Glow feature, but here, I was experimenting with Normal mode. It turned out okay. And then, for the background, I made a roof, blurred it out, and then added the clouds and the sun rays using a fluff brush.
Final Art
Almost done! I added the leaves and some bokeh for some depth, and tadaaa~ finished! 😁
