I made lunch for my wife and mum today. I cooked some 'Patty Melts' today as my brother bought loads of bread which is more than what we would finish in a week. What better way to utilise them than make some sandwiches for lunch today.

I first start off making the patties which I used beef and pork. I used this mixture as the beef I had was very lean and I needed some fat so I used some minced pork so that it'll be moist after it's cooked.

I simple balled the mince then when ready to cook, simply smash it in the pan to a patty shape. I seasoned it simply just with salt.

I also cooked up some fried eggs and then toasted the bread in a pan. For the cheese, I didn't bother melting it as this was processed cheese from Taco Bell and since Taco Bell doesn't melt their cheese on their tacos, I decided to go the less hassle route and do that too.

Before serving I put some ketchup in the sandwich and it's ready to be enjoyed. Not my best ever "burger" sorta cooking but my family liked it and my youngest son tried some and liked it too. He found it fascinating as he usually eats rice and noodles.
