Had some delicious pizza and burger yesterday for dinner. My friend's place was having their final day of school holidays promo offer of RM3 discount on every item so I decided to get some for dinner.
We had are usual go to pepperoni pizza. It's a neopolitan pizza that uses sourdough as the pizza's bread and its topped with homemade tomato sauce topped with beef pepperoni slices, cherry tomatoes that's been halved and some basil, topped with a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese.
It's baked in an electric pizza oven he imported from the US which takes only about 2-3 minutes to cook a pie with a couple of turns. Super delicious and toasty with all the wonderful savory toppings. I haven't eaten any other pizzas after having his and I don't think I'll be able to without comparing pizzas to the ones he makes.
I also ordered a cheeseburger for myself which is a smashed type of burger he has on the menu. He uses an Australian beef blend for the patty and hard seared in the flattop. It's served with his handcrafted premium brioche buns that makes all the difference to his burgers.
What a delicious dinner that's full of quality ingredients but at an affordable price.
