@erilej y

Today I went to the Forum race, which I didn't register for; however, the idea was to run it on the outside, as well as to officially deliver the Hive Run shirt to @abima04.
Last year I went with @enmy and we didn't run it, I don't remember why. I made the decision that I won't spend money on more than two races a year, which are the Caracas Rock and the CAF Marathon, staying true to my minimalist philosophy. I'll run the others on the outside.
This was the first race I didn't finish. At kilometer 5, I started to get cramps and held on until almost kilometer 8, when I started walking. It's likely that if I had been registered, I would have finished it. What am I saying, likely? I'm sure I would have finished it, but since I haven't been running much, I preferred to leave it at that and not suffer for nothing.
I did very well in the first 5K, I even think I started out very fast, but that route has a downhill section in the first few kilometers, so I wanted to take advantage of it, since I knew that a greater effort was coming later.
It was a chance to meet up with the club, which is always appreciated. Now @abima04 has his shirt to proudly represent Hive Run. Of course,
@erilej and
@enmy were also there, and he left his number behind and remembered it when we arrived. We had to go back to his house to get it, but miraculously he made it back in time for the start. 😁
