good night coffee lovers from #hive how was today on and off the platform? I hope you are well and I hope you have taken your daily dose of caffeine hahaha today I bring a different post in which I talk a little about philately and coffee and how one helps the other

well first of all I do not consider myself a philatelic collector but let's say I was lucky enough to meet an heir to a large and expensive collection of stamps and unique collectible pieces in the world so to speak and he literally sold cheap and a certain friendship was made between the two and well, the dryness of the stamps burned many because they gave him an allergy and before it burned more I negotiated them with him and they literally came out common and others that are expensive, scarce, with errors and varieties, among which this one that I show came out

the one I show is from Colombia I don't remember the year, these are called vignettes they are not stamps because they do not have face value but they are like to decorate the letter or postcard that you send is something like that and seeing it I came up with this post, how do they collaborate?

Well, let's say that if it took me to review the 5000 stamps, vignettes that I acquired from my friend for approximately 6 months, well imagine those who lead a life and how you arrive for long hours with strength and courage to review? what better than a good coffee? that's right it took me 6 months in 2020 in the midst of a pandemic to check the bag full of stamps and let's say it was a good hobby in those days without being able to go out much or at all

it lasted until the night, sometimes until midnight searching and reviewing the internet, separating the good ones from the common ones, so to speak, and the coffee was the one that helped me, apart from that I also had to look for the varieties or errors that are those stamps with manufacturing details that raises their value

In the end, one thing helps the other and I know that for philatelists, coffee is often a good companion

I hope you like this post a little different from how coffee accompanied me in those years of stamp classification, there I also put direct links from where I took two of the photos in case you want to see the themes of coffee in Colombia and the art of philately, the first image is mine and it is one of my favorite vignettes because it has the theme of coffee in it, soon I will bring you more in this great community, I wish you all a good night
