Greetings, beautiful community 馃 馃挄
One of the best things about having your own home is the freedom. As many already know, we lost our home; now we are living in a house that isn't ours, and there are many limitations鈥攊ncluding regarding food and drink. I never imagined I鈥檇 have to make coffee amidst such stress.
We are staying at my mother-in-law's house. She is happy to have us there, but every household has rules; out of respect and consideration, we have to adapt to them, even if we don't always like it.
My brother-in-law has my mother-in-law on a strict diet. There are many foods and drinks she is practically forbidden from consuming, and coffee is one of them. When we first arrived, we didn't know exactly how things worked, but the housekeeper filled us in.
It is strictly forbidden to prepare food that isn't part of my mother-in-law's diet. If I decide to make something outside of that diet, I have to do it on the sly. My mother-in-law can't see it; if she realizes there is coffee, she鈥檒l want some, and that would create an awkward situation we definitely want to avoid.
For this reason, we鈥檝e established a routine. The housekeeper is our accomplice: we buy our own pack of coffee, put it in a lidded container, and store it in her room (or ours if she isn't around). We always try to keep it somewhere my mother-in-law can't see it, since she tends to be quite curious 馃憖.
In the morning, our accomplice is the first to make coffee; she prepares it quickly, pours it into a mug, and takes it to the bedroom. A little later, it鈥檚 my turn: I get up and immediately head to the kitchen to make coffee for my husband and myself鈥攖hough sometimes he makes it instead. While preparing our coveted drink, we keep a close watch to see if my mother-in-law is sound asleep; usually, at the time we鈥檝e chosen to brew the coffee, she is sleeping very deeply. We鈥檝e been lucky so far, but it is a rather stressful moment 馃.
Once the coffee is ready, we pour it into a thermal tumbler gifted to us by my dear sister 
To some, this might sound like a joke, but for us, not having the freedom to make ourselves a cup of coffee is hard. That鈥檚 why, whenever we go out to a coffee shop now, we enjoy our coffee like never before鈥攄rinking it exactly how we like it, without any rush.

Saludos hermosa comunidad 馃 馃挄
Una de las mejores cosas de tener hogar propio, es la libertad, como muchos ya saben, perdimos nuestro hogar, ahora estamos viviendo en una casa que no es nuestra, las limitantes son muchas, incluyendo comidas y bebidas, nunca me imagin茅 que iba a tener que preparar caf茅 en medio del estr茅s.
Estamos en casa de mi suegra, ella est谩 feliz de tenernos all铆, pero en todo hogar hay reglas, por respeto y consideraci贸n hay que adaptarse a ellas, aunque a veces no nos guste.
Mi cu帽ado le tiene una dieta estricta a mi suegra, hay muchos alimentos que se le est谩 pr谩cticamente prohibido comer, incluyendo bebidas y el cafe es una de esas, cuando llegamos aqu铆 no sab铆amos exactamente como eran las cosas, pero la sra que hace el trabajo dom茅stico nos puso al tanto.
Definitivamente est谩 prohibido preparar comida que no sea parte de la dieta de mi suegra y si decido a hacer algo fuera de la dieta lo debo preparar a escondidas, mi suegra no puede ver porque si se da cuenta que hay caf茅, pues ella va a querer y ser铆a un momento inc贸modo que definitivamente queremos evitar.
Por esta raz贸n hemos creado una rutina, la sra que hace el trabajo dom茅stico es nuestra c贸mplice, compramos nuestro paquete de caf茅, lo echamos en un recipiente con tapa y se guarda en la habitaci贸n de nuestra c贸mplice y si ella no est谩 lo guardamos en nuestra habitaci贸n, siempre tratamos de guardarlo en un lugar en d贸nde m铆 suegra no alcance a verlo, pues ella suele ser bastante curiosa 馃憖
En la ma帽ana nuestra c贸mplice es la primera en preparar su caf茅, lo hace r谩pidamente, lo sirve en una taza y se lo lleva a la habitaci贸n, luego un poco m谩s tarde es mi turno, me levanto e inmediatamente voy a la cocina a preparar caf茅 para m铆 esposo y para m铆, a veces tambi茅n lo hace el, en el momento de la preparaci贸n de nuestra ahnelada bebida estamos muy pendientes en mirar si mi suegra est谩 bien dormida, normalmente en esa hora que hemos escogido para hacer el caf茅 ella duerme muy profundamente, hasta ahora hemos tenido suerte, pero es algo estresante ese momento 馃
Luego de estar listo el caf茅,lo echamos en un vaso t茅rmico que nos regal贸 mi querida hermana
Para algunos puede sonar a chiste, pero para nosotros el no tener libertad para hacernos un caf茅, es dif铆cil, por eso ahora cuando salimos y vamos a una cafeter铆a, disfrutamos como nunca nuestro cafecito, lo tomamos a nuestro gusto y sin apuros.
