Greetings, Steemlandia friends!

So the Mom-Hooman has been busy making apple butter and apple pie fillings and apple sauce from the bountiful harvest of apples in the yard... and somewhere along the way, a small branch made it into the house.

Well, a twig, really...

I think the Mom-Hooman thought I would find the greenery amusing, but that sort of thing is really not my gig.

But my housemate BeBe? She thought that little branch was the greatest thing since... well... cat food!

She not only rolled on it in the middle of the floor, but she also picked it up and started carrying it around! Silly cat!

In no time at all, she'd pulled it up on a chair and was rolling all over it, on the chair! I've never seen such a thing, at least not since the Great Catnip Incident!

Normally, I wouldn't tolerate not being the one having their picture taken... but you have to admit that she's pretty cute! Cute enough that the Mom-Hooman even took a break from her cooking to take a few pictures.

Who would have thought an apple branch could make a cat so happy?

Meanwhile, I pretended to not be interested at all, by looking out the window...

Hope everyone is doing well! I have not had a lot of time to be here, thanks to the Hoomans' very busy work schedules. Hopefully that will soon change, as I miss interacting with my Steemy cat friends!
