This morning, I started my day with my usual routine of checking out Hive Town to collect flowers at the Town Square. It's something I've been doing regularly, and I must say that it has become one of my favorite activities on Hive lately. However, while I was collecting flowers, I noticed something unusual near the fountain. There was a huge bat hovering around, and beside it was a label that said "Hive Flight."

Of course, being the curious person that I am, I immediately checked it out. LOL! It seems that another feature has been added to Hive Town, and this time, it's a mini-game that allows players to fly through the historical price chart of Hive. Woohoo!

I wasn't expecting to discover something new during my usual morning routine, so this was definitely a pleasant surprise.

My First Experience Playing Hive Flight

At first glance, Hive Flight looks like a relaxing game, especially with its beautiful fantasy-themed background. I chose the Haunted Apiary theme, which features a magical Halloween atmosphere filled with pumpkins, glowing lanterns, and mysterious castles.

However, don't let the beautiful scenery fool you because the game is actually quite challenging! Haha!

The gameplay is simple. You control a flying character, either a bat or a bee, and your objective is to stay within the upper and lower boundaries of a moving path. The interesting part is that the path follows the historical price movement of Hive, starting from March 2020.

Basically, you're flying through Hive's price history while trying to avoid crashing into the boundaries. Once you hit either the top or bottom, your flight ends.

Sounds easy, right?

Well, not for me! LOL!

Since I don't remember playing this kind of game before, I kept losing almost immediately after starting. I couldn't figure out how to properly control the bat, and before I knew it, I had already crashed.

But after several attempts, I gradually started understanding the technique. It's really about maintaining the right position and making small adjustments instead of constantly moving up and down.

Eventually, I managed to improve my performance and achieved my personal best of 135 days covered.

I was actually quite happy with that result until I checked the leaderboard. Haha!

Apparently, the highest-ranking player, cmpablo22@cmpablo22, managed to cover an incredible 2,405 days!

Whoa! That's almost the entire historical chart available in the game. I honestly wonder how someone can maintain that level of control for such a long flight. That player must have incredible reflexes and patience!

Anyway, I think this is another fantastic addition to Hive Town. What makes it interesting is how it transforms Hive's historical price data into something entertaining and interactive.

Instead of simply looking at charts and worrying about price movements, we can now experience them through a game.

I believe this is the kind of creativity that makes Hive Town enjoyable. It's not necessarily about earning rewards but about giving the community more reasons to visit, explore, and have fun.

If you haven't tried Hive Flight yet, I highly encourage you to give it a shot. Let's see how far you can fly!

Tonight's Dinner at Aljunied

Moving on to another topic, I also want to share my simple dinner tonight.

I went to a mixed vegetable rice stall around the Aljunied area because I was craving one of my favorite fish dishes, fried pomfret.

Whenever I see freshly fried pomfret at a mixed rice stall, it's quite difficult for me to resist ordering it. I really enjoy its flavor, especially when the skin is nicely fried while the meat remains tender.

To make my meal more balanced, I added pumpkin and sautéed cabbage alongside a serving of white rice.

I particularly enjoyed the pumpkin because of its natural sweetness, which complemented the savory flavor of the fried fish. Meanwhile, the cabbage added some freshness and variety to the meal.

It's a simple combination, but that's exactly what I was looking for tonight.

I wouldn't say that fried fish is the healthiest option, but compared to some of my usual unhealthy meals, I think this is already a good improvement. LOL!

Sometimes, a satisfying dinner doesn't have to be expensive or complicated. A nice serving of rice, fish, and vegetables is more than enough to make me happy.

Overall, today turned out to be a nice combination of discovering something new on Hive Town and enjoying a comforting dinner.

I'm glad to see Hive Town continuously introducing fun activities for the community, and I'm looking forward to discovering what else the developers have planned.

For now, I'll continue practicing Hive Flight and hopefully improve my score. Who knows, maybe I'll eventually make it further up the leaderboard! Hehe!

Happy Hive Town gaming, everyone, and bon appétit!
