Hi all my name is cryptokas and in real live they call me Kas. I'm 35 years young and studied sport management followed by a master in applied computer siences at the university of Ghent (Belgium). 5 months ago my live transformed into a permanent adventure because I became a daddy of a beautiful baby girl. I enjoy to be the best daddy I can despite the sleepless nights, dirty diapers and less bedroomgym (note: the latter is not a myth). From the first minute our little daughter was born I was overwelmed with so much love. Live before being a parent is exciting but I strongly advice to become a mommy or daddy (asap) at least once, but be aware that this is forever. It's probably the best thing that ever happend to me.
In my scarce free time I like to make stuff with hard-, soft- and foodware. These days you can make virtualy anything because the internet is one big pool of information. Who would have thought that I would build my own 3D-printer and got into electronics ten years ago? I really like to thank the "big internet manual" for making that possible.
My crypto journey started 8 years ago with a real bummer (I realise now). I remember buying some bitcoins to make an online purchase. After the purchase I had around 10 spare bitcoins and of course I didn't take care of them. In the meantime I had multiple laptops and as many computer crashes so I consider it's impossible to recover my wallet. My crypto journey ended there, until now. I hope to get involved. I feel like this is the perfect place to do so.
I'm a steemian now for 48 hours and I already spent some time discovering the platform. I must say that it's rather complicated to find out how everything works. There's a lot of new terminology to learn and it's not always easy to find answers. I already made a few comments and even answered the steemitcryptochallenge @timsaid (https://steemit.com/steemitcryptochallenge/@timsaid/the-steemit-crypto-challenge-17-1-cc2k17-7-100-steem-power-prize ). I also plan to post my own content. My first blog post will be about how I make my own ginger infused iced tea. I already harvested the ginger but I still need to buy a few lemons to make my ingredients list complete. So if you like a spicy refreshing kick, I strongly advice you to keep an eye on the food/kitchen tag.
I hope you enjoyed my brief introduction and didn't notice my spelling mistakes :-)
Peace
