Settle in because I've got a fun story for you! A few weeks ago I had someone reach out to me on Twitter (his username is @ toastedcoins92) asking if he could literally make me homemade bagels, engrave my logo on them, and then overnight them to me from New York. I literally didn't even know what to say... how does one appropriately respond to something like that other than...
Oh wait... I think I can find a better "YES" GIF...

Okay, back to the story...
I am actually kind of embarrassed to admit I've never been to New York City (although I might go for Consensus this year) and so I've never actually experienced why New York bagels get so much hype. Ummmm.... It is well deserved. That was one of the best god damn carbs I've ever put in my mouth. I even live close to a local bagel shop that I used to think was excellent...but now I realize that we just don't know how to do bagels here on the West Coast.
While he was engraving the bagels (by burning the logo into them), he asked if I had any other coins I liked that he could imprint for me. Of course, I told him Bitcoin and Steem! I couldn't believe the quality of his craftsmanship when they came in. The precision of the logos is quite impressive.
So I took a few photos to show you guys of the various bagels he sent me. He ended up making me about a dozen - so i'll be wrapping/freezing them so I can pull them out and enjoy a bagel here and there. I know they are never as good once they've been frozen... but they, I have a feeling it will still be better than the west coast shit I'm used to. 😉
Enjoy the shots from my little "photo shoot". I learned a valuable lesson here... that it's impossible to take a cute picture of yourself eating a bagel. Hence why there are no photos of the kind in here.
