I have been thinking periodically about the best ways to change the world for the better. On an individual level, I believe the easiest thing we can do is take responsibility for our own actions. By being personally responsible you no longer burden those around you.
On a world wide basis, I think you should try to treat others as an extension of yourself. If these two things could be done, likely no more war would ever happen.
Now since I have taken responsibility for myself, what would be the next logical course of action...I have been treating others as an extension of myself, and it has greatly increased my empathy lately.
