There's this cafe close to my work named Baci which they brag mean kiss in Italian.
They have a really cute set up and its a good place to go play pretend at. The drinks are delicious though on the too sweet side, the food is only so so, but the ambiance is king.
For Halloween, they have a little spot called a "Spookeasy" and I celebrated going to work everyday by taking my kids to have an after church brunch.
The Front Garden of the Cafe
Some of the plants are I've and are part of the every day garden, and then there's decorations woven in between.
The reception area
Please don't mind the oddly cropped pictures - those kids I claim I was celebrating with wouldn't move out of the way.
Here's some of the food

Two sweet waffles and one savory one. The savory once still had honey on it. They tell us right on the menu that maple syrup is a special request, and that's real as these waffles are super sweet, and not very crispy.
Here's a Biscoff Matcha
It was... super sweet. Its hard for me to wrap my head around this place because the drinks really should be stand alone - but they have all this food too. Maybe next time I'll just take them for drinks only.... And then I can feel boring when I order the plain latte with no sweetener.
Here's a picture of my Pistacchio latte
They have this special imported pistachio butter that they wrap around the rim. Its quite tasty. Its also nice when they run out of butter and serve up a salt/sugar Pistacchio rim.
And my favorite picture of my table
Like I told the kids, we weren't really there for the food, though I do like how they plate it - I was there for the ambiance. And it was nice.
I love spending time with my kids and as much as I love being home, sometimes its easier to relax somewhere different.
Thank you for coming to the Baci Spookeasy with me. <3
