I'm free as a bird and this bird you cannot change! The health department emailed me my walking papers and I am no longer under confinement! You don't realize how much moving around you do until you can't

This year has been a lively one here in Louisville. We usually have the National Guard in town for the Kentucky Derby every year but they're usually not carrying rifles. This year they were in town several

The weekend is just getting rolling around these parts and I'm jamming out to an artist I just discovered last night and playing around with some old photos I just rediscovered. The video below is a live

So it's not quite the end of the year but I'm ready to be done with it already so I'm going ahead and putting this together. Almost all the photos I post on here are taken with my Nikon, I thought it would

I generally try and refrain from shilling things that aren't hive related but there's usually an exception to every rule and today is gonna be one of those. I got an email today letting me know that

I was bored and doomscrolling through hive earlier, about the time my voting power started to run low I discovered that there wasn't much left to do if one wasn't in the mood for reading or writing. I

It's a cold, dreary quarantine day here in Louisville, one of those grey winter days that just seems to drag on forever. I'm ready for it to be spring again, can we just fast forward through all this cold

Since tomorrow (December 5th) is the cutoff for @pinmapple's "If I had $1000" writing contest I figured I'd quit procrastinating and write a post for that. If I had $1000 then I would be hitting

This photo is one of my favorites of all the landscapes I've taken. I'd been heading for the Pacific Ocean and the coast in Washington when I stopped for the night at a campground on Kachess Lake just

Besides bourbon, fried chicken, and a particular horse race on the first Saturday in May, Kentucky is known for its tobacco. Kentucky grows about 70% of all burley tobacco produced in the United States.

Just a bit south of Bloomington, Indiana is an interesting little place to visit, Spring Mill State Park. There's a quaint little historic village with a three story watermill (pictured above) and a bunch
