It was one of those days to please Earl, grey as hell and spitting rain, and just warm enough to count as good weather in the Pacific Northwest. You know, tea weather.
Rather than have a damn thing to do with it I just stayed inside and edited photos of from similar conditions. Besides, this is the sort of weather that's best enjoyed vicariously.
Probably shouldn't bitch too much, it used to snow this time of year. Never been a fan of cold weather so I was a bit of a hard sell on global warming. I mean how could never having to winter again be a bad thing?
Few years back I was living with an old friend and drinking buddy from college, who was still drinking professionally like we were still 19. At one point he gave up on food entirely and subsisted for a month on nothing but Sierra Nevada Torpedo IPAs. Eventually his body had had enough and jaundice and ascites set it, but it was hard for me to tell because it progressed slowly, at least until my best friend came over and asked why he was yellow. Now we just need the aliens to come and ask why the thermostat is set to max.
This last photo is the Louisville skyline and the Ohio River in even cooler weather but the rest of the photos are from Washington and Oregon when I was out that way in 2017.
Now for just a Touch of Grey more.
