One of my family's favorite foods is German pancakes
German pancake recipe
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Put a 1/2 cup of butter in a 9 x 13 pan and place in the oven until melted.
Mix together:
2 cups of milk
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/3 cups of flour.
I use my blender to mix them together or you can mix them together in a bowl.
Pour mixture in the 9 x 13 pan once the butter is melted. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes.
We like ours with lemon juice and powder sugar on ours. But you can top them with what ever you like.
You can also make this batter and fry it in butter in a frying pan and they are still good.
