I don't normally do recaps at odd numbers. I'm a weirdo like that. I normally celebrate ever 10th or 20th chapter, but this time around, Matthew's scarf has just been finished! And I am so proud. That makes my 3rd Oogieliboo (too wide to be a scarf and to narrow to be a shawl, but just right to feel like a hug) with only two more to go for all 5 of us to have one.
Doesn't Matthew look smashing though? Jeepers I really didn't realize how big this Oogieliboo is. It's taller than him!
I am also remembering a special someone who passed recently, far to young, and who once upon a time, was my sister. She made this scarf for me and I've kept it all these years. They make wonderful gifts, handmade scarves. It's like a hug from the creator every time you out it on. I'm hoping to encourage her husband to give this a go. NudgeNudge Wink Wink!
As I said, even though it's a weird number, I feel like number 13 is a cool number and also the completion of my third Oogieliboo deserves some celebration.
Once I'm done with ours, I intend to make as many as I can for charity. That was my inspiration in the first place before all the kids demanded their own ones 馃ぃ
