I can still remember that when I was growing up, I will always tell my friends that I wanted to be a doctor. but I ended up studying business administration.

When choosing a career, we should try to choose one we have zeal for. Seriously, when you have zeal for something, you will do it perfectly well. Our parents should not choose your career for us.

The current job I am doing right now is one I hate so much, but I have to do it because of the situation in my country. And i have fall in love with it.

The marketing job is something I so much dislike, but as it stands now, I cherish my work. I have learned many things from this job, although there are challenges.

Lessons I have learned from this career

Of course, no one is perfect; we learn every day. I have learned a whole lot from this career.

  • Believing in myself: Before now, I don’t believe in myself; this work has boosted my confidence. You know, as a marketer, you need to believe in yourself before other people will believe in you.

If there is one thing I learned from this work, it is not to give up. I so much believe I will achieve every set goal I set.I never knew I was this strong, not until I became a marketer.

  • Good communication and good relations with people: this work will connect you to many people, both good and bad. With the experience I have gained over the years, I am able to maintain good relationships with people. If the customers are wrong, you have to take the blame.

  • Keeping to time: You see, this particular one is so happy that I learned it before I got the job. I am this kind of person who doesn’t take things seriously and doesn't keep to time, but now I don’t joke with my time. Keeping to time will help reschedule me.

Things I wish I knew before going into this particular job

  • How I wish I knew that when working in a bank, you need to be very careful, especially when it comes to transactions. I never knew that you would be responsible for any mistakes.

  • I never knew that if you didn’t get my target, I will leave the organization. Right now, I am in the middle of nowhere, and I have to keep pushing.

  • I never knew that the stress would be too much on me.

I love my career so much, and I will not give up.
