Hi coffee lovers, I have good news!
This weekend was the beginning of something wonderful
I invite you to read my post. I am very happy to share my experience here

Begining the journey.png

It's been more than six months since I started posting in this beautiful community Cinnamon Cup Coffee. Every week the posts of each of you full of excitement encouraged me to be an active part in sharing my empirical experiences when it comes to enjoying a cup of coffee. However, I have to thank my husband for making me a delicious coffee every morning. He made me fall in love with this beverage. I also thank millycf1976@millycf1976 for moderating this space with passion and making us all accomplices around a cup of coffee. All of you have inspired me to want to learn more about coffee, so I decided to take my first academic barista training course.

Drinking a cup involves all our senses and activates many emotions. I confess that I am very curious, so I did not want to stay in that emotional part. I wanted to go deeper into the world of coffee and talk from a professional perspective about this beverage. It is such a wide world, and I'm just at the beginning of the road hahaha, but that's where you start.

In a previous post, I told you about my friend named David. He is a professional barista with extensive knowledge and a lot of love for his profession. David organized practical barista courses for all coffee lovers. I couldn't miss it. It was a personalized course, with two instructors dedicated to a very small group of participants from different professions. They managed to gather around a coffee machine with two veterinarians, a physics student, a beauty stylist, and a nutritionist to enjoy a weekend full of learning.

Studying coffee requires understanding the whole process of transformation of the fruit until it reaches our cups. Understanding the theory is indispensable to being able to prepare coffee professionally. Learning many of these theoretical things helps you to fully enjoy this beverage and drives you to want to try different preparations elaborated with coffee.

However, none of this theory is valid without practice, so the first thing that you should know well is the coffee machine and the coffee grinder. These are fundamental utensils that will determine the immense variety of beverages that can be prepared. In future publications, I will be sharing interesting details that I have learned.

You must feel comfortable handling these two tools is fundamental since they turn your inspiration to make coffee into a cup of well-prepared coffee.

If you venture into the world of coffee at a professional level, you can be willing to try a lot of this beverage. Only in this way, you will be able to train your palate and refine your preparation techniques.

Do you know the meaning of barista?
It is the art of applying the exact amount of constant pressure expressed in "bars" on the coffee to extract the best of it and serve it in a cup.

In the next few days, I will have several internships. I will learn many things that I will share with you in different publications. For now, I am very happy with this beautiful challenge that I have set myself to accomplish. Thank you dear community for being the inspiration for this personal project!
