I never expected such justice to be meted on me in this level of civilisation. Slap after slap landed on several places besides my face, kick after kick, punch after punch. I was naive to think that was the worst it could get.

As I managed to gather my thoughts through all the brutality, a brick landed on my head, I can't tell if the brick shattered but I can tell that my thoughts did. Picking up the broken pieces would be impossible, I couldn't even get together my orientation, that was shattered to smithereens as well. If I didn't know how yam felt while being pounded, today I did, as what felt like a 5-inch thick plank was used to give me some body massage, one I obviously didn't appreciate.

Walking let alone running was impossible for my now ill-shapened bones. All I could do was remain in the sitting position where all this was done to me. I knew I wasn't going remain in that position for long though; every ounce of me screamed in excruciating pain. Then from nowhere a knife.

Like dabbing a sweaty made-up face with a napkin, whoever it was stabbed me with the knife repeatedly, never on the same spot twice. It didn't feel as painful as I thought it would but that's probably because my brain was already starting to numb out all the pain. It was only then I began realise that this isn't just any punishment for my sins, it was a death penalty. Before I could conclude that thought, I could smell petrol, then feel its cooling sensation all over me.

As my fatality stared right at me in the face, I thought if I should forgive these barbarians in civilisation clothing for what they had done to me and about doing. I felt I couldn't, because indeed they knew what they were doing. Or do they?

They say I deserve death because I murdered a person, and I wonder if they don't deserve death as well for murdering me. They carry out this act without a slight consideration of my motive or if this act would make them guilty of the same crime I'm being murdered for. They call it justice, I call it bottled-up hate from all their past experiences.

These thoughts reveal that they truly do not know what they do. I'd forgive them; perhaps for eternal peace, as these flames drown away my pains.
