Recently, I joined a writing community
Where a particularly popular non-governmental ) (NGO) owner
Usually sponsors poets. He or she awards
Three poets who come out best in their craft.
This occurs every month. They submit their poems privately,
And at the peak of the following month,
The three runner-ups will be announced.
I am inspired to write a poem;
I love the write-ups and admire the winners.
I want to give it a try,
Just that I don't often feel inspired to write poetry.
I write more prose than poems,
But one day, I will definitely write a poem
Just for the competition, not necessarily to win.
I could write a poem for fun
While participating in the monthly contest too.
