One of the toughest things is moving on when everything seems to weigh heavily on the mind. Mostly when it feels like your efforts are not yielding anything reasonable, or when an encounter with people makes you feel like your efforts are insignificant. To keep going is sincerely very difficult.
When I feel down and overwhelmed with pressure, I write down my emotions. If I can't say it, I write it down. Writing them down makes it feel like I am releasing them from my chest. Sometimes it works, and most times it doesn't.
When people try to belittle my efforts, I feel very hurt and bad. When I can clearly see that the person is just trying to be rude, I defend myself quickly because if I choose to ignore it, it stays with me and makes me very unhappy.
When things don't seem to be getting better, I love staying alone. I meditate, I pray, and I speak strength to my soul. Sometimes, I do it with cool music playing in the background. This helps me connect more, relax my heart, pray from my heart, and ask God for the strength to move on. Sometimes, even after praying, it looks like everything is still the same. I continue anyway. I may be tired, but this time around, I have peace in my heart because I have handed everything over to my Creator, and I believe that surely, things must work out.
I keep saying to myself, "You can do this. You are already doing it. You can do it better."
Sometimes, subconsciously, I allow people's words to get to me. Later, I realize that what I am doing is not really me, but that I am acting because of someone's words. When I realize this, I immediately come out of that act. Instead of allowing their words to break me, the person becomes my motivation to do more and do better. these are one of the ways I find the strength to keep moving forward. I may become tired, hurt, or discouraged, but I remind myself that I am still moving because I have refused to give up on myself.
