If I am to choose a profession of my choice, I will choose to become a barrister. Though this is not what I studied in school, I have this admiration for lawyers, especially their dressing.

Seeing ladies dress up in this attire makes me see someone who is not just beautiful but also has brains and intelligence. Their eloquent speaking and the way they defend cases, not just with words but with citations from the constitution, I mean, who wouldn't be impressed by these sights?
Beyond their dressing and eloquence, I admire their role in defending people and working hand in hand with human rights activists to ensure that the rights of the oppressed are restored.

Many people are accused of crimes every day and are deprived of their rights. They need lawyers to help them seek justice. I once visited a prison with my friends to see the inmates and also provide food relief. On the board, the total number of inmates was stated as 1,200. Among this number, 950 were awaiting trial, and most of them had spent years there, yet nothing was being said about their cases.

It was so disheartening because I learnt that some of the inmates were innocent, but because no one was able to defend them, they ended up there.

Then, there is also the title attached to their names, which makes them prestigious. Such a title cannot be earned ordinarily; one must pass through law school and meet the necessary requirements to earn it. Although the illegal acts associated with this profession have not made me dislike lawyers, I believe there are still honest ones in the field.
If I am to choose a career, I will choose to be a barrister or, if possible, a judge, so that justice can be achieved for the innocent and those who have been offended.

Namaste!!!!!
