Hello ladies of hive. This is my entry for LOH 312 contest.

A woman can still be genuinely happy with her life even when it looks nothing like what she once imagined. Not necessarily worse, though. Sometimes, the things we experience shape us, change our perspectives, and help us understand what truly matters. It's also very normal to sometimes wish that everything we imagined had played out as we wished.

One can wish for a particular thing but later come to realise that it wasn't necessary or that the desire was born out of mere pressure. These years of growth and experience come with adjustments and the understanding that not everything we wish for happens exactly as we imagined. The sadness sometimes comes when we fail to understand this.

Everything is constant but change. There are things I imagined doing that I couldn't do because I wasn't opportune to do them. However, amidst these missed opportunities, there were better things I never imagined doing that actually happened. They replaced those things, and I am happy with how everything turned out.

I believe happiness doesn't have a perfect timeline. We create our own happiness by celebrating the little milestones we achieve, celebrating ourselves every day, and constantly applauding our efforts.

Sometimes, things don't go as we imagined, but understanding that better things also happened, things we never imagined, should give us reasons to be genuinely happy and grateful for the journey. growth is not just about achieving everything we once desired. It consist also experiences we've gathered, the adjustments we've made, the opportunities we've missed and embraced, and the lessons we've learnt along the way.

Thank you for reading.
