Well, for me, I would say that I very well believe that a woman can be happy with her life even if it doesn't look like what she had imagined. It happens; women are humans too, and for humans, plans will always change, and things won't always go the way we had them planned.
I'm a guy, but most of my friends are females. I'm very close to the female gender; I can tell you almost everything about them... But that will be for next time since that's not where we are going today, but my closeness with them has made me seem and understand that women carry different expectations, dreams, struggles, and all. Some of them imagined getting married at a certain age; I even have one of them presently who's clocked that age, and she's planning her marriage already. I'm so happy for her. We also have others who imagine building a career, traveling, and all of that before a particular age. But life won't always follow our time or go by our plans.
Thinking about it now, I think one of the few people I could talk about is my mom; she happens to be my best friend. Watching her do things and go about all the various things that she does taught me that there's definitely more to happiness than having everything go the way you actually planned it. I'm not saying that it is always easy having to follow a different script than the ones we already have planned; it can be very disturbing and disappointing, but it doesn't mean that you've failed in life.
What I'm trying to say in essence, especially with my mum, is that a woman can let go of the life she had imagined and still be genuinely happy in the one she's now living. The fact that life has turned out differently doesn't mean that it has become bad... You can create new dreams, discover something else about yourself, appreciate your journey, and enjoy your life without having to worry about feeling left behind.
