Can a woman be happy with her life even if it doesn't look the way she once imagined?

Hanpro

Hello #ladiesofhive Happy new month and week. I trust you had a restful weekend. I did too. Being happy is a choice. A woman may decide not to be happy irrespective of whether things looked the way she once imagined or not.

Hence, the question "can a woman be happy with her life if it doesn't look the way she onc imagined" is a yes for me. I say this because life is not a script, it is not stereotyped to work out in a certain pattern. Some times, we notice that our realities have shifted from our plans. Our dreams, wishes and heart desires aren't playing out the way we envisaged. At that point, what do we do? Start fighting things that are beyond our control or move on with life surviving each crash and improving.

The other time, I mentioned that I switched career twice when thigs were not working out the way I planned. I would have chosen to remain stagnant while waiting for some magic to happen, but I moved on happily with my life, strategising each time I encounter an obstacle to my plans.

Life is dynamic, and nobody promised that it would ever be easy to navigate. As a woman, I feel bad, and unhappy when I encounter rejection, failure or failed business attempts. Sometimes, they bring me to my lowest point and I cry, blame myself where it is necessary. However, I do not remain in that state for long. I find a way to encourage myself, find courage and motivation in some motivational words. Learn the lessons thereof and move on happily. I also struggle with this situation until I find the strength to fully become happy.

I once lost a job opportunity I have imagined and worked hard for. The day I got the rejection mail after getting to the final stage, I locked my office, cried my eyes out and within that moment, I felt the whole world has crashed on me. After a few hours of that drama, I wore my glass, opened my door and still attended employees engagement, answered their questions during feedback session and attended to their complaints leaving the tears of my disappointment behind.

Looking pale, hurtful and like our failure will only worsen the situation both physically and health wise. When our big dreams for a wonderful career, marriage, business and lifestyle did not work out the way we planned as a woman, We don't worsen the situation by slipping into comparison with others or trying to live a borrowed lifestyle to cover up that failure, rather we should brace up for the future while learning all the lessons from previous failures and setbacks to improve to live the life we imagined in the future.
