Time is one of the most valuable treasures. It ticks slowly, but steady, sometimes times, it takes one by surprise when one realizes how far the day has gone without accomplishing anything.

Setting schedules and reminders helps us manage our activities properly without becoming overwhelmed. The world is very busy with activities. At times, we forget to check up on our loved ones and friends, not because we don't care, but because we have too many activities to attend to. Making this worse is the fact that when activities are not well organized, one may feel busy all day without actually knowing what kept them occupied.

There was this friend I had whose day was programmed. She had a timetable that told her where she should be at a particular time. She had time for sleeping, eating, medical appointments, and many other activities. I noticed that it helped her day move smoothly and reduced procrastination. I had to learn from her.

Sometimes, we become so occupied with activities that we forget ourselves in the process. Setting timers helps us arrange our activities and organize our day, making it less overwhelming. It also helps us create time for our personal lives and relationships. The fact that the world is busy should not be an excuse for neglecting our loved ones or failing to check up on them.

Also, not being conscious of time encourages procrastination. Procrastination doesn't help at all, it increases our workload and creates unnecessary burdens. The thought that "I will do this later" can turn into a pile of unfinished tasks, which eventually becomes hectic and draining.
Sometimes, due to laziness, the work might not even get done because it has become too much to handle.
Knowing that time is a resource that needs to be managed wisely is important. Because time is money.
