Time for a quiet day. Made breakfast for our guest. My wife said "how about fish and chips for lunch?" Good idea - so off to shops we went. Rain had stopped
Walked across the forecourt between the two mall building. A fab display of winter succulents outside one of the cafes
Cloud clearing above the clock and fountain. Not often can one get a photo with only one person in the shot
Got the shopping done - was busy - rainy days drags people into the malls
Went for a walk around the block late afternoon to get the steps over 5k. Camellia time always

Pink begonias - my mother's favourite though I do not recall pink. Always orange or reddish
Not sure of ID but it did have raindrops. Maybe a jasmine
Chose this walk as there is a house on the corner that has orchids. A few houses above has a cymbidium orchid budding.
And the house at the bottom had one cymbidium flowering close enough to get a photo. Mission accomplished.
Did cook dinner - a pasta Alfredo - cooked with a lot of butter - bacon, mushrooms, onion, spring onion, garlic, a little cream cheese. Used the pasta water for thickening plus some cheating with GF flour
